Description
Portsea Hall is an art decor mansion block that overlooks a traditional London garden square with direct views onto Hyde Park. The aspiration was to take a very standard 1.5 bedroom poorly laid out flat and transform it into a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom high end London apartment that made full use of its aspect overlooking a beautiful garden square and Hyde Park itself.
In order to maximize the South facing aspect and bring better light into the whole apartment the property was internally gutted with a complete new floor layout in-stalled. This was in order to bring full natural light into the kitchen/living area and master bedroom.
From the very first moments of entering the apartment the quality of project was evident. Complete home automation key pads that triggered lighting, music and window blinds/curtains in any desired combinations left visitors immediately aware that this was a home of the latest specifications. This home automation system was also fully controlled by tablet and mobile phone if desired.
High quality finishes were used throughout including marble tiling, white granite kitchen, steam room, jacuzzi bath, polished plaster walls.
The completed project was a total transformation from a cramped, dark living experience to a real show home to the very latest standards of design and finish, fully maximizing the natural light and unique location and aspect of this amazing property.
