This project involved an extension to the rear of the property to add about 33% extra floor space. It was an opportunity for the client to transform a small 1 bedroom apartment in to a 2 double bedroom apartment with open plan kitchen/living area and greatly enhance the living experience.

The building is both Grade 2 listed and within the Bermondsey St Conservation Area so design and build had to be sympathetic to this.

The building itself has a beautifully historic facade forming part of a well documented and photographed terrace. The brief was to maintain the charm of the listed status but to achieve a simplistic modern living experience from within.
