Waterloo Rd was a typical warehouse conversion project for which the SE1 district of London has become well known.

With a floorspace of c1200ft2 there was essentially a blank canvas to work with. The aspiration was to achieve a premium level apartment of contemporary finish that made full use of the expansive spaces of both the floor area and the 4.5m ceiling height.

Notable inclusions in the project was a floating wall and polished plaster feature wall. With large master bedroom with mezzanine and ensuite bathroom, further second bedroom/office and family bathroom, the aim was to leave a vast open plan living area that fully satisfied this ‘New York loft apartment’ characteristics of this building.

The finished article offered a unique and photogenic living space in the heart of this vibrant area of London.

The completed project was a total transformation from a cramped, dark living experience to a real show home to the very latest standards of design and finish, fully maximizing the natural light and unique location and aspect of this amazing property.
